Single File Run Club makes running shirts with dating-profile-style designs and a QR code that opens a mini profile you control: change it or pause it any time. We’re a DateCard property based in Dallas, Texas. See how it works.

No: we sell shirts, with no app to download, no profiles to browse and no messaging inside the shop. Someone sees your shirt in person, scans it if they want to, and reaches you the way you chose. Our guide to alternatives to dating apps compares the options.

Adults in the US who’d like the people they already see, at a run club, a race, the gym or the coffee line, to have an easy way to say hi. You don’t have to be a runner: there are performance shirts for race day and cotton ones for the coffee after. You must be 18 or older to order, and so must the person who wears the shirt.

DateCard, our parent site, makes free dating profiles you share with one link. If you have one, your scan page can show its first photo and a button to the full card. You don’t need one to order a shirt.

Our shirts cost $34–$48 with one printed side, depending on the shirt. A second printed side adds $8; 2XL adds $3, and 3XL (The Pacer only) adds $5. Shipping is $5.95 per order, and free when your order comes to $75 or more after discounts.

Unless you hide it, each printed side carries one small SHOP.DATE-CARD.APP line, so people who like your shirt can find us later. It sits clear of your design and your QR code.

Yes: choose Hide in the designer. It adds $5 a shirt, and nothing else on your design moves. If your shirt has a QR code, its scan page still links to the shop.

One per order: a promo code when we run one, or $5 off your order when you start from someone’s scan page (its “Get your own shirt” link). Promo codes go in on the last step before you pay.

Usually 6–12 business days from order to door: a person reviews it within 1 business day, then it takes 2–5 to print and 3–4 to ship. Shipping details.

To addresses in the United States only, for now: not US territories (like Puerto Rico or Guam) or other countries. Shipping is $5.95 per order, and free when your order comes to $75 or more after discounts.

Your card is authorized at checkout and charged only when we approve your order for printing. If we can’t approve it, you’re never charged.

Until it’s approved for printing, yes: email hello@date-card.app with your order ref. We’ll cancel it before your card is charged, and you can order again with any changes; once it’s approved, it’s already being made.

Our printing partner prints each shirt to order, and now and then it runs out of a color or size. The designer marks what’s sold out, and we check again at checkout and before we charge your card. If yours sells out after you order, you won’t pay for a shirt we can’t make: we release the hold on your card, or refund you if it was already charged, and let you know so you can pick another size or color.

Yes, if the person who’ll wear it is 18 or older. Choose the QR code: a number printed on the shirt or behind Text me has to be your own, so leave theirs off. After you order, send them the private manage link so they can edit their scan page.

Up to 5 of one design per order, all in the same size and color. For another size, color or design, place another order.

Their phone opens your scan page: your first name, your age if you add it, a line about you, and the ways to reach you that you picked (a Text me button, your DateCard, Instagram or TikTok). There’s no place on it for your last name, address or location, and your number shows only to someone who taps Text me. It also has a safety note and a link for them to get their own shirt.

No. Any phone camera that reads QR codes opens your scan page in the browser, with nothing to install.

Yes, any time, from your private manage link: your name, age, line and the ways to reach you. The printed shirt stays the same, but the page it opens changes at once.

No: it always opens your scan page on our site (shop.date-card.app), where an Instagram or TikTok button is one tap away, and you can change or pause that page without reprinting. If you’d rather skip the code, you can print your handle on the shirt instead.

Taken tells scanners you’re off the market. Paused shows a neutral “this shirt is resting” page with nothing about you. Switch either one on or off from your manage link: it works the moment you tap it.

Yes. Wash cold and inside out, tumble dry low or hang dry, and don’t iron the print. If it won’t scan, email a photo to hello@date-card.app within 30 days of delivery and we’ll reprint it free.

About a foot for every inch of code width, in good light: up to about 7 feet for the big back-print code, and 3–5 feet for other designs. People usually scan when you’re both stopped, at a light, a water fountain or the coffee line. If a phone won’t read it, open its own camera app, step a little closer and keep the shirt flat.

It’s your call, and it’s permanent: anyone who sees the shirt, or a photo of it, can text you. That’s why the QR code is the default: with it, your number shows only to people who tap Text me, and you can switch that off. If you print a number, consider a second number from a calling and texting app.

So nobody can print someone else’s number. Before a shirt with a number prints, we confirm with you that it’s yours.

It’s a button on your scan page that starts a text to you from the scanner’s own phone; your number isn’t on the page and shows only to someone who taps it. We check by hand that the number is yours before we approve your order, and the button goes live once we have. Switch it off from your manage link any time.

Not from your manage link for now: a new number needs a text code, and we can’t send those yet. Email hello@date-card.app and we’ll help. You can still remove the number, or switch Text me off, any time.

Shirts are made to order, so we can’t take returns for size, color or a change of mind. The size charts above come from the makers of each shirt, so check them before you order.

Email a photo to hello@date-card.app within 30 days of delivery and we’ll reprint it free, or refund you if you’d rather. The same goes for a shirt that arrives damaged, defective or wrong. Refunds.

No. We count scans per day, and that’s all: no names, devices, locations or times of day.

Yes: report it here, no account needed. A person reads every report within 24 hours, and the wearer is never told who reported them.

No. SINGLE FILE RUN CLUB DOES NOT CONDUCT CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECKS ON THE PEOPLE WHO BUY OR WEAR ITS SHIRTS, OR ON ANYONE WHO CONTACTS THEM THROUGH A SCAN PAGE.

Block the number on your phone: texts come straight from their phone to yours, and we never see them. To keep new scanners from getting your number, switch Text me off or set your page to Paused from your manage link; both work at once. If you feel unsafe, call 911 first, and tell us through the report form.
